Where Is South Park?

Well, it certainly is not here:

 

Even though that’s where
The City of Los Angeles
says it is!
 

South Park is really here:

That is Avalon Boulevard on the right.
 

In 2002 the Bandstand was free of graffitti.
 

But this privately owned fence adjoining the park was not.
 
Below, old houses face a walkway called Park Front Walk.

All of the ornamental lamps were smashed.
(But see later news at bottom of this page.)
 
It is a place for the neighborhood.
There is a swimming pool that is packed in the summer.
 

This is the REAL South Park.

(But read how it was a hundred years ago.)
